The movie The Dirty Picture is a Telugu flick. It is the Telugu dubbing version of the Hindi movie with same title. The story of the movie is based around the life of south movie actress Silk Smitha. This story narrates the journey, where a make-up girl becomes an extra and then goes on to become most wanted screen sensation of the early 80s. It shows how she reaches meteoric heights and later in her life experiences the steepest fall. This movie tries to capture silk as just another women who craves for true love, who faces unfortunate events which contributes to some miserable consequences towards the end. The lead actors in the movie are Vidya Balan, Naseeruddin Shah, Emraan Hashmi and Tusshar Kapoor. It is under the banner of Balaji Motion Pictures and ALT Entertainment.
