The movie Simharasi is a Telugu flick. It is a Telugu remake of the Tamil movie Maayi. It is a action based drama movie. The story of the movie revolves around the hero and his family. He is a well respected man in his village who does great things for the people of the village. Once when he finds out about his father's second marriage, his father kills himself instead of facing his son. He then brings his step sister home. As the story develops the heroine and his sister's daughter both come to village from city. Both of them wish to marry him then he tells them why he can not think of marrying any woman. What is his reason for not marrying anybody and finally what happens, whom will he marry is what the rest of the story deals with. Lead pair in the movie is Dr. Rajasekhar, Sakshi Shivananda.
