The movie "Puli Veta" is a romantic action flick. It is the dubbed version of the Tamil movie "Vettaikaaran". The basic theme of this film is about a young and energetic hero, who chases the rowdies and punishes them for torturing and robbing the people’s money. The film revolves around a youngster Ravi(Vijay), who makes his journey from Tuticorin to Chennai to achieve his life's ambition of becoming a cop and idolizes the Police commissioner(Srihari). He joins a Chennai college and makes ends meet by driving an auto rickshaw. He meets Suseela (Anushka) and falls in love with her instantaneously. Then, he comes across the criminals deteriorating the society and hatches plans to bash them down for the sake of innocents lives. The movie is under the banner of Jyothi Arts banner.
