Marana Mrudangam is action movie in which, Chiranjeevi runs a small time restaurant with his partner Nagendra Babu. One fine day he helps two women Radha & Suhasini stuck with their broken car helps them. Suhasini gets a job as nurse in an hospital. One day, Nagendra babu discovers cocaine in an egg in his kitchen and they start investigating the source of this egg. This unfolds the links between a businessman, Gollapudi and underworld Don, Suresh Oberoi. They offer jobs to unemployed and use them to sell their body parts. Suhasini's unemployed brother Prasad gets into their trap and leaves home. She takes Chiranjeevi's help to rescue her brother. Meanwhile Radha lodges a complaint against Gollapudi and his son about their dark secrets. Rest of the story how Chiranjeevi deals all these problems.
