:
The movie "Manasara" is semi-periodical youthful love story set in the backdrop of Kerala. The story is set in Kerala where the century-old Kerala martial art called Kalari is highlighted. Vikram plays a middle-class student from urban area who goes to Kerala and falls in love with a beautiful girl. He thinks that he is not worthy of her love as he lacks the spirit to fight with knives. How she slowly recognises his love and thinks that he is not as bad as she thought is the crux of the story. The setup of the movie, give it an ancient feel but it's a contemporary love story.
