This film is a remake of Kannada film Anna Tangi. Raja Shekar and Arti Agarwal are doing lead roles. Meera Jasmine plays sister to Raja Shekar. Akash is paired opposite to Meera Jasmine. The film has a heavy dose of sentiment and is aimed at the middle class audiences that are very emotional and attach great importance to things like family bonds and sentiment. There are seven songs in the film of which two have been shot at picturesque locations in New Zealand. SA Rajkumar is the music director.
