This flick directed by Meher Ramesh was produced under the banner Gopikrishna Movies Pvt Ltd. The super hit Tamil film 'Billa' is the base for this film titled the same as 'Billa'. Prabhas is paired with Anushka and Namitha and KrishnamRaju is paired up with JayaSudha in another set of lead roles. Shooting of the movie is done at the locales of Malaysia, Bangkok, Dubai and Vizag. Tamil cinematographer Soundarya Rajan is introduced to Telugu cinema industry through this film. Music was composed by ManiSharma, Camera work was handled by Soundarya Rajan. Producer and director have taken all the measures to bring out the movie in a more stylish and entertaining than Tamil ‘Billa’.
