The movie "Bet" is an action movie along with a love story. It is the dubbed verison of the Tamil movie "Aarumugam".Bharath and Priyamani in the lead pair. The theme is about the hatred between the rich and poor. Bharath is the owner of a small food joint, which he runs with his father and sister(Saranya Mohan). He is closely attached to his mother. He is in love with his childhood love Yamini (Priyamani). His best friend is a rich person, Karthik (Satya) whose sister is an arrogant business tycoon Malini (Ramya Krishnan). She and her uncle hates Satya's deep bonding with Bharath. She, through her cunning ways, is able to create misunderstandings between the two friends. How Bharath with his hard work and smart moves becomes the richest man in the town and takes his revenge is the climax of the movie.
