The movie "Action Replayy" is a romantic comedy and is all about rewinding your life and the film is said to be high on style quotient and emotionally rewarding too. The story is said to be the Hindi version of the English movie "Back to the Future". Bunty (Aditiya Roy Kapoor) lives a really bad life. His parents, dad Kishen (Akshay Kumar) and mum Mala (Aishwarya Rai) had an arranged marriage and don't get along well. He believes that if they would have had a love marriage then this would not have been the scenario and his life would have been perfect. Bunty always runs away from his girlfriend, Tanya (Sudeepa Singh), whenever she mentions the word "marriage", as he developed a marriage phobia due to his parent's regular arguments. One day, Tanya's grandfather, Professor Anthony Gonsalves (Randhir Kapoor), gives him the choice to either marry Tanya or forget her forever. Bunty sneaks in and steals the Professor's time machine late at night to transport himself to the 1970's, the time when his parents were in their youth. Now he will not leave that era, until he makes his parents' marriage a love story. So, what follows next is a series of comedy with a pleasant dose of romance.
