Uma Educational & Technical Society, Kakinada is a Registered Nongovernmental Voluntary organization. Its founder Executive Director Mr. S.P. Reddy laid the foundation stone during 1988. Its sister organization Uma Manovikasa Kendram which is affiliated to UETS, is a flagship rehabilitation center for disabled, which plays a vital role in prevention, Correction of further occurrence of disability, equalization of opportunities, awareness creation, education, enhancing the quality of life and integration of disabled into the mainstreams of society.
Our Mission:
To enable the differently abled, improve their quality of life and make them meaningful independent participatory adult role in the society.
Here we offer Diagnostic treatment, Speed education, Vocation education, by day care and residential care.
Achievements: Received "National Award" from President of India on 3rd March 2003 for its services.
