Rajahmundry, oct16th: Robbery took place near the Axis bank in Rajahmundry on Thursday. A person withdrew nearly 1.6lakh from the bank which was robbed by an unknown person.
According the sources provided by the police, an inhabitant of Rahajmundry rural Venkata Rao withdrew the money from the bank at 11 am at T-nagar branch Axis bank. He kept the money in a cover and put the cover in his basket. An unknown woman came there and said that a ten rupee note was fallen on the ground for which Venkata Rao bend down to take the note. Meanwhile he found that his money was missing.
Immediately victim complained to the police. Two town SI Mahendra came to the bank and enquired the victim and took neccesarry information from him. According to the victims information two town SI filled the case for further investigation
