Hyderabad, Oct 16th: The state government has decided to provide computer education to nearly 5,000 high schools in the state. The program was postponed many times due to lack of proper lab facilities in the schools, but at last, the government has decided to launch the program at the end of October and will be inaugurated by C.M.
The companies like NIIT, Aducamp, ECIL, Evaron, Terasoft and Social computers came forward to provide computer education to various schools in the district. The government has to pay nearly 40,000rs to the software companies in every trimester.
The educational minister said that the software purchase and the recognition of the agencies were already completed in the month of June. The delay in the work has taken place due to the lack of proper lab facilities and buildings in the schools and assured that all the work will be completed by the end of this month.
School educational director Bhanu Murthy said that nearly 1,000 schools were already in the process of giving the computer education and keeping in mind the previous experience he said proper care will be taken in providing security and maintenance of the computers
