the movie is good. the main draw back is the last 15 minutes where the movie takes the U-turn and dissapoints us.

mahankali is a typical police story kind of movie at the start of the movie it is described about the involvement of local gangs in the serial blasts and bomb attacks in india. true to some extent people may say, but this was shown in most of the recent movies. consider both satyameva jayathe and evadaithe nakenti that show the angry character of rajasheker. with a routine and not so gripping story rajashekar may have to face the fact that the movie cannot be a great hit. It is so naive on our part to think so, he might have made this valiant attempt to stay in the race as he still has all the family involved in the movie, Dr.V.Rajashekar the screenplay writer of the movie is too good in some aspects as he has a focused vision to complete the story. As an actor he cannot to under-rated than most of the stars as this is the thing that is still keep him up and going in the race. the only worry factor is his selection of stories. Camera and BGM's have been handled well in this flick and also the sound effects and visual departments of the movie are good. to some extent one can say that if only rajashekar gets some matured and non-routine charecters tailor made for him he could work wonders in the industry. comedy as always never seen in this flick, inclusion of some of the good names in the movie for the comedy and sentiment departments, would have worked well. all in all the movie might not bring the past glory to rajashekar but its more like a cover for his losses as he gets some good marks both as an actor and screenplay writer. Box office will remain silent on the flick as it is an average grosser
