The title "Aha Naa Pellanta" evokes memories of the iconic '80s Jandhyala creation by the same name but this "Aha Naa Pellanta" is another Plagiaristic remake of Bollywood Movie - "Welcome" (which, in turn, is a Plagiaristic remake of Hollywood movie "Marrying The Mafia"), What a pity to see Plagiarism killing the creativity of Indian Movie world.
The Allari Naresh`s comedy rarely make you feel monotonious, except if there's a really bad director around. Indeed, it is his unflinching loyalty to the comedy genre that repeatedly resuscitates an otherwise bored box-office battered by assembly line offerings.
Allari Naresh once again gave the best performance. His character, however, was underplayed by the director as he had thought of giving more scope for narration of the story with the help of other artistes like Srihari, Brahmanandam, Subbaraju, Samrat and others.Raghu Kunche scored good music for the film and a couple of songs were quite melodious. Especially the marriage song ‘Pellichesukora Subrahmanyam. The director made use of cartoon caricatures for the action scenes involving Nagineedu to avoid direct bloodshed on the screen, which was really a nice experiment. none of the scenes appeared lengthy and boring. Though there were some jerks in screenplay here and there, the comedy helped to ignore such scenes. It is a surprise how the director ignored to have a look at the dialogue modulation of artistes like Srihari and Nagineedu. Its surprising to see Srihari using Telangana accent while Nagineedu delivers in Rayalaseema slang. Whatever may be the lapses, they are just ignorable because the audiences would ignore them as the film was quite hilarious and a laugh riot. Cinema is the right medium for common man as we all come to watch a comedy movie to relax from the routine stress and this film gives you hearty laughs. Watch the film without any expectations and you have good fun as it yet another Allari Naresh joyride..
