VISAKHA Dairy, which has extended its operations to East Godavari during the past two years, is planning to set up a milk processing plant and powder plant there soon at a cost of Rs 10 crore.
At present, the dairy is procuring four lakh litres a day from the producers, which is expected to touch five lakh litres shortly. The average sales has remained in the range of three to five lakh litres depending on the season.
